A portable high-temperature indicator calibrated in degrees Fahrenheit (0–1000°F), designed to work with a remote thermocouple sensor for measuring furnace or process temperatures. Used in foundries, metalworking plants, and industrial heat-treatment facilities. Housed in a wooden transport case with carrying handle. Mid-20th century, c.1930s–1950s.
